Nintendo is letting go of X integration
Nintendo has said that the Switch, Switch Lite, and Switch OLED—its well-known gaming consoles—will no longer have X (previously Twitter) functionality.

After this date, Switch owners won't be able to utilize their consoles to immediately submit screenshots to social media accounts. Additionally, it will no longer be possible to "send friend requests to friends on social media from within the Nintendo Switch friend suggestions feature."
Facebook integration will continue to work for the time being, according to Nintendo, though it may also be discontinued in the future.
The elimination of this feature will have the greatest effect on certain game titles, especially Splatoon 2 and 3.
Splatoon 3 will adjust to "allow users to make posts without one of these social media accounts" as a result of the impending changes, according to Nintendo. There is a catch, though: sharing photographs with other players younger than 13 will make them invisible to other players, signifying a change in how user content visibility is handled.
