We indulged in countless hours of pure bliss in the crystal-clear waters, relishing in the fact that we had the beach mostly to ourselves. Situated approximately 30 minutes away from Hvar Town, along the main road to Stari Grad, Zaraće awaits those seeking a tranquil escape.
Pokonji Dol Checkout in 2024
Pokonji Dol, reminiscent of a classic 70's James Bond movie, embodies the essence of a Mediterranean paradise. Situated just a brief 25-minute stroll away from town, it stands out as the most convenient and exceptional beach in proximity to Hvar town.
The water here boasts an astonishingly vibrant turquoise hue, embraced by lush green hills and the occasional orange beach umbrella. Although the beach maintains its pebbly nature, we discovered it to be more comfortable for lounging compared to others in the vicinity.
Additionally, Pokonji Dol is accompanied by two charmingly authentic restaurants that serve the freshest catches of the day, complemented by ice-cold beers that are simply perfect for enjoying a sundowner. For those seeking extra comfort, sunbeds are available for hire at prices ranging from HRK 70 to 100 for the entire day.
